Heidi Montag

     Heidi has a lot of unusual crazy behaviors and there are psychological explanations for why she acts like this. From the neuroscience perspective Heidi has something wrong with her frontal lobe that causes her to think she needs a lot of different plastic surgeries. It makes her think that she is really ugly even though truely she's just fine the way she is.
     There is also an explanation for the way she acts from the psychodynamic perspective. Way back when Heidi was a child all the children in her class and her family would tease her for her very slow development and her looks. This caused her to feel self conscious and her conscious caused her to get lots of different plastic surgeries at once hoping that it will make her feel beautiful.
      From the behavioral perspective Heidi feels the need to get lots of different plastic because after she got her first set of surgeries she got a lot of attention and enjoyed it all which caused her to get even more surgeries.
     In the cognitive perspective in psychology Heidi looks at the media world and sees all the celebrities getting plastic surgeries and looking "beautiful" and "perfect". This causes her to think she's not good enough so she goes through with about ten different plastic surgeries hoping it will make her feel better. Heidi lives in Hollywood in the middle of all the drama and crazy things that are going on.
    From the social-culture perspective they would say that watching everything that goes on in Hollywood and the culture from there would cause Heidi to think it's normal and okay to get all those plastic surgeries. She hopes it will make her feel better about herself and fit in better within the Hollywood scene.
      Heidi is not very healthy and has not come close to reaching her full potential yet. A humanistic psychologist would say that Heidi needs to stop getting plastic surgeries and worry more about her health and well being. They would also say you need to try and be successful and happy at doing something more productive in your life than being famous because of the way you look and the crazy things you do.
